Job summary

Covenant House Alaska is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead trauma-informed care for youth experiencing homelessness and trafficking. You will supervise the Youth Engagement Center, coordinate with partners, manage data entry, and respond to crises while building relationships with youth.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in human or social services preferred, supervisory experience, and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in human or social services preferred; experience can substitute for educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience working with adolescent or disadvantaged populations; supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and pass background checks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed service delivery to youth and engage them in programs.
• Supervise Youth Engagement Center staff during shifts and ensure data entry accuracy.
• Coordinate with agencies to connect youth with housing, education, and employment resources.
• Engage in community meetings and advocate for youths’ needs.
• Maintain compliance with privacy policies and reporting requirements.
