Job summary

Covenant House Alaska is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Day Shift to provide high quality trauma-informed services to youth experiencing homelessness and trafficking. You will supervise staff, engage youth in programming, and coordinate care with partners to support housing, health, and education goals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, data accuracy, safety, and collaboration across teams to promote positive outcomes for youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human or social services preferred.
• Experience with adolescents or disadvantaged populations preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Youth Engagement Center and staff.
• Provide trauma-informed support and intervention to youth in crisis.
• Build relationships with youth and engage them in programs and services.
• Coordinate with partner agencies to connect housing, health, and education resources.
• Ensure data entry and reporting for program metrics and safety logs.
