Job summary

The Child Health and Development Institute (CHDI) in Farmington, CT, seeks a Project Coordinator to advance SAMHSA-funded Project BRIDGE, focusing on trauma-informed screening, training, and implementation for child-serving staff.

You will gather data, develop online trainings, coordinate meetings, and produce reports, collaborating with national experts, families, and CHDI staff to ensure timely deliverables and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in psychology, public health, public policy, social work, education, child development, or a related field.
• Experience delivering evidence-based practices and trauma treatment to children is strongly preferred.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and summarizing literature to understand best practices.
• Collecting data through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
• Developing trainings for the children’s behavioral health workforce.
• Developing implementation materials such as manuals and resources.
• Coordinating project activities to meet deliverables and contract requirements.
• Scheduling and facilitating team meetings and updating progress.
