Job summary

Child Health and Development Institute in Farmington, CT, seeks a Senior Project Coordinator to manage SAMHSA-funded Project BRIDGE activities, including data collection, training development, and stakeholder collaboration to improve child behavioral health services.

You will lead trainings, develop implementation materials, monitor deliverables, and ensure grant alignment while engaging national/state experts and families. Strong writing and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, public health, public policy, social work, education, or related field.
• Experience delivering evidence-based practices and trauma treatment to children.
• Knowledge of the children’s behavioral health system; lived experience preferred.
• Experience in partnership development, project coordination, and program implementation.
• Ability to translate research and data into accessible materials.
• Strong writing, synthesis, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently reviewing, synthesizing, and translating research to inform project activities.
• Designing and coordinating data collection through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
• Leading the development of trainings for the children’s behavioral health workforce.
• Developing materials to support implementation (manuals, resources).
• Building collaborative relationships with national/state experts and families.
• Serving as a primary contact for partners, trainers, and participating organizations.
• Managing online training content within a learning management system to increase knowledge.
