Job summary

SBCS Chula Vista seeks a Youth Prevention & Intervention Clinician to provide trauma-informed mental health services for youth in Casa Nuestra and related programs. You will perform crisis intervention, therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet client needs.

Requires a Master’s degree in social work or psychology and licensure eligibility (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, ASW, or IMF). Evening/weekend availability and travel to affiliated sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or psychology with current licensure eligibility.
• Experience counseling youth with trauma histories preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed mental health services to youth and families.
• Conduct crisis intervention, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Coordinate with case management and community referrals.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in client records and data systems.
