Job summary

Children's Legacy Center in California seeks a Licensed Clinician to deliver trauma‑informed mental health services to youth and families. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and parent education in a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a behavioral science and CA licensure (MFT/LCSW/PCC) with trauma experience. Evening availability and background check required; salary ranges $75,000–$90,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral science field (e.g., Social Work, MFT, Counseling, Psychology)
• Current, valid California licensure (MFT/LCSW/PCC) in good standing
• Experience delivering therapy to children, adolescents, and families affected by trauma or abuse
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI Livescan background check and have reliable transportation
• Willingness to work at least one evening per week (10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic mental health services to youth and families impacted by trauma
• Offer therapy for non-offending caregivers to support the family
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, diagnoses, and clinical notes
• Collaborate with staff, victim advocates, and community partners
• Maintain thorough program documentation and regulatory compliance
• Stay updated on trauma-informed care and evidence-based methods
• Attend required trainings (e.g., TF‑CBT, EMDR, PCIT)
• Participate in team meetings and supervision
