Job summary

Foundations for Living in Mansfield, Ohio, is seeking a compassionate Youth Care Specialist to work with at‑risk youths receiving trauma-informed treatment. You will provide daily care, supervision, and safety, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized plans.

You will help residents build resilience, document progress, and participate in therapeutic activities, with shifts from early morning to night.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Handle with Care certifications are required or provided during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Implement and follow through with treatment plans for residents.
• Provide daily care, supervision, and support to residents.
• Participate in therapeutic groups and activities. Maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
• Document and maintain accurate records of resident progress and behavior.
