Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in youth residential care, behavioral health, or child welfare setting.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention principles.
• Strong communication, supervision and crisis response skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the direct care team on an assigned shift.
• Ensure trauma-informed, youth-centered programming is consistently applied.
• Coordinate shift tasks, staff assignments and scheduling to maintain ratios.
• Provide coaching and supervision to Youth Development Counselors during shifts.
• Document and review logs, incident reports and youth care plans.
