Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch is seeking Mental Health Workers – Group Home to support trauma-informed care for youth in Montana. You will supervise daily activities, model positive behavior, and facilitate living and social skills while ensuring safety.

Starting pay ranges from $18.12–$20.39 per hour for full-time roles, with steps 1–5 of an 11-step pay scale; hiring based on education and experience.

• Strong communication skills with youth, families and team
• Professional boundaries and ethics in mental health care
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Self-motivation and reliability
• Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment programming and provide feedback for each child in the group home.
• Maintain a positive, safe, therapeutic milieu and supervise youth on shift.
• Complete proper treatment documentation on time per YBGR policies.
• Liaise with families and agencies, supervise visits and calls.
• Support therapeutic procedures in home and community activities.
• Be accountable to the treatment team and program needs.
