Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Inc. is seeking Mental Health Workers to support youth in Group Homes, providing supervised therapeutic services in a safe, positive environment. You will help implement individualized plans and collaborate with the treatment team to achieve goals.

Starting salary range is $17.12–$19.27 per hour, based on education and experience. This role requires 21+ and Montana background checks, a high school diploma, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 21 years old or older.
• Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: pass background check as required by the State of Montana.
• Education: High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth, plan activities, and build a positive therapeutic relationship.
• Collaborate with youth on individual treatment goals and document results timely.
• Implement treatment modalities and update care, management and discharge plans.
• Facilitate support groups and supervise family visits.
• Safely operate vehicles for client transport.
• Willingness to cook, clean and assist with hygiene supervision.
• Attend staff meetings, supervision, training, and support PR efforts; take on other tasks.
• Communicate with Program Manager for progress and obtain approvals for activities.
