House of Ruth Maryland is hiring a Service Coordinator to coordinate services for victims seeking help. The role includes welcoming new residents, crisis intervention, safety planning, and developing intervention strategies, with offsite visits and 24-hour hotline coverage.

This on-site position requires trauma-informed practice, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a diverse client base in a voluntary services model. Local travel is expected up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Two years of paid or volunteer experience providing counseling, case management, or victim-centered advocacy.
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills with diverse individuals.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Criminal Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination of services for a caseload of 15–20 participants.
• Respond to crisis situations and conduct safety planning.
• Develop service plans with timelines and coordinate with internal and external providers.
• Maintain case files in accordance with program standards.
• Assist with data collection for grants and reports.
• Coordinate home visits and interpretation/translation arrangements as needed.
