Job summary

Veteran Pathways of New England seeks a Suicide Prevention Clinical Social Worker in Devens, MA, part-time, to provide clinical oversight, risk assessments, and trauma-informed support to Veterans in the Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program.

You will identify safety concerns, develop individualized plans, and connect participants with behavioral health services while collaborating with VA partners and program staff. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts LICSW license.
• Ability to work independently and with Veterans and families.
• Ability to conduct assessments, safety plans, and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and field travel may be required; background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments and suicide risk evaluations.
• Develop, review, and update individualized safety plans with participants.
• Coordinate care with VA facilities and community providers.
• Provide clinical consultation to case managers and outreach staff.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, safety plans, and referrals.
