Job summary

Laurel Life is seeking a Therapist-Transition Classrooms to provide school-based therapy and consult with staff. You will deliver individual and group services, complete assessments, and help develop student supports in transition classrooms.

Master’s‑level clinicians with trauma‑informed care training will guide treatment plans, support staff, and participate in trainings to promote student resilience and safe, respectful environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field per PA Code requirements.
• Licensure is preferred/required in some areas (e.g., LSW, LICSW, LPC, LMFT).
• Specialized training in resiliency and trauma-informed care.
• Specialized training in behavior interventions.
• Experience or training in early intervention when services are requested.

Responsibilities

• Administer behavioral interventions and assessments (TSAT, SDQ) for identified students.
• Provide information on risk/protective factors and intervention strategies to staff and families.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to staff and administration.
• Provide individual counseling to students.
• Facilitate school-based treatment groups and write progress notes.
• Assist in developing IEPs and behavior contracts; monitor progress.
• Complete required reports and attend court hearings if necessary.
