Job summary

WestCare is seeking a Lead Therapist to provide clinical leadership for the program's therapists and maintain a reduced caseload serving children in foster care and their families.

The role supervises therapists, offers clinical consultation and case reviews, and ensures fidelity to trauma‑informed, evidence‑based practices such as TF-CBT, Seeking Safety, and the Nurturing Parenting Program, in collaboration with the Project Director.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant behavioral health field is required.
• Florida licensure preferred; Registered Intern status required.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and case consultation to therapists.
• Review clinical documentation for quality and fidelity to models.
• Maintain a reduced caseload with assessments and therapy.
• Provide therapeutic visitation to strengthen parent-child relationships.
• Facilitate caregiver education groups and trauma-focused programs.
• Collaborate with child welfare and community partners to coordinate care.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and grant data collection.
• Ensure confidentiality per HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
