Job summary

Resilience Behavioral Health of New Jersey in Union, NJ is seeking a full-time Therapist to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral health services on-site during daytime hours. This role supports individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions through individualized treatment to promote wellness and recovery.

You will provide individual, group, and family therapy, apply CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention; participate in treatment

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field per NJ licensure requirements.
• Current NJ clinical or associate-level credential (e.g., LCSW/LSW, LPC/LAC, LMFT/LAMFT) as applicable.
• 1–2 years of behavioral health clinical experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based trauma-informed approaches.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Union, NJ during daytime schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy per client needs.
• Apply evidence-based trauma-informed approaches (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation, relapse prevention).
• Support clients with mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions.
• Participate in treatment planning and monitor progress toward goals.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with treatment team for coordinated, client-centered care.
• Promote a therapeutic environment focused on dignity, safety, recovery, and skills development.
