Job summary

Resilience Behavioral Health of New Jersey seeks a full-time Therapist to provide trauma-informed behavioral health services on-site in Union, New Jersey. This daytime position supports individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions through individualized treatment promoting sustainable coping skills, wellness, and recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current New Jersey clinical or associate-level behavioral health credential such as LCSW/LSW, LPC/LAC, or LMFT/LAMFT as applicable.
• 1-2 years of experience providing behavioral health services in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of evidence-based and trauma-informed behavioral health treatments.
• Strong clinical communication, documentation, treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy per client needs.
• Apply trauma-informed approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation, relapse prevention.
• Support clients with mental health and co-occurring conditions in Resilience's care continuum.
• Participate in treatment planning and monitor progress toward clinical goals.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with treatment team for coordinated, client-centered care.
• Promote a therapeutic environment grounded in dignity, safety, recovery principles and skill-building.
