Job summary

M Wellness Centers of NJ is seeking a Clinician to deliver evidence-based counseling services, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care, client safety, and continuity of care within a multidisciplinary team.

The Clinician will provide individual, group, and family counseling, coordinate referrals, and ensure timely documentation in the EHR, while upholding HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• LSW, LCSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT, CADC/CADC II or equivalent credential (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and clinical evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
• Coordinate referrals for ancillary services and higher or lower levels of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR (Kipu) and comply with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• Participate in case conferences, supervision, and quality improvement activities.
