Pace Center for Girls in Macon, GA seeks a full-time Therapist to deliver community-based prevention and early intervention behavioral health services to girls aged 11-17. You will apply a holistic clinical framework to build resiliency and reduce risk behaviors, within a supportive, trauma-informed program.

The role emphasizes direct care and wrap-around supports, with weekly individual therapy and monthly family sessions, across school, home, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
• Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker in GA or eligible for licensure.
• Minimum two years’ experience with at-risk youth and families preferred.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of case management practices and youth behavioral health systems.
• Proficient with basic office software and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Uphold ethics and state statutes to ensure participant safety.
• Establish positive rapport with participants, families and staff.
• Conduct holistic assessments and develop goal plans with targeted interventions.
• Provide weekly therapy services across school/home/community settings.
• Offer monthly family support and counseling to encourage progress.
• Conduct psycho-educational and group interventions focused on life skills.
