Job summary

Pace Center for Girls seeks a Therapist to deliver community-based prevention, diversion, and early intervention services for girls ages 11-17. The role focuses on building resiliency through a holistic clinical framework in school, home, and community settings.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, licensure or eligibility, and 3–5 years working with at-risk youth. Evening and weekend hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field required.
• Minimum three to five years’ experience with at-risk youth preferred.
• Current driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly therapy services to girls in school, home, community, or center settings using evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct psycho-educational and therapy groups focused on social-emotional and life skills development.
• Provide family support/counseling with caregivers to support progression in the change process.
• Provide wrap-around care and case management, including transportation when needed, and coordinate with outside providers.
