Job summary

Pace Center for Girls in Macon, GA is seeking a full-time Therapist to deliver community-based prevention and early intervention behavioral health services to girls ages 11-17. Qualifications

• Master’s degree required (Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field).
• Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker in the applicable state, or eligible for licensure as an associate/ intern under supervision.
• Minimum two years’ experience preferred, preferably with at‑risk youth and families.
• Current Driver’s license.
• Knowledge of case management practices, community behavioral health systems, and youth/family laws.
• Proficient with computers and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care services, including weekly therapy, in school/home/community/center settings.
• Provide monthly family support/counseling to caregivers to support girl progression.
• Conduct psycho-educational and therapy groups focused on life skills.
• Provide wrap-around care (case) management, including transportation and referrals.
• Maintain timely documentation and productivity as per Pace policies.
