Job summary

Swarthmore College's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) seeks a clinician to provide trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and case management for student survivors. The role may include direct clinical services to the general student body, outreach programming, and training to practicum students, collaborating with Title IX and faculty.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Master’s in Social Work.
• Licensed as a Psychologist or LCSW in PA or license eligible within 6 months.
• Knowledge of clinical theories, diagnoses, interventions and treatment planning.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling and assessment to students, including survivors.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources for accommodations and referrals.
• Facilitate psycho-educational and process-oriented groups.
• Maintain accurate documentation for clinical interactions.
• Provide crisis intervention and triage services including walk-in coverage.
• Offer outreach programming and consultations to campus community.
