Job summary

Swarthmore College's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) seeks a clinician to provide trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and case management for student survivors. Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Master’s in Social Work.
  • Licensed as a Psychologist or LCSW in PA or license eligible within 6 months.
  • Knowledge of clinical theories, diagnoses, interventions and treatment planning.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counseling and assessment to students, including survivors.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources for accommodations and referrals.
  • Facilitate psycho-educational and process-oriented groups.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for clinical interactions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and triage services including walk-in coverage.
  • Offer outreach programming and consultations to campus community.
