Job summary

Lakeside Educational Network is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the Upper Merion Vantage Academy Campus in Bridgeport, PA. Serve middle and high school students needing learning and emotional support in an inclusive, collaborative setting with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities include IEP development, co-teaching and progress documentation, with a trauma-informed approach and strong teamwork to promote academic and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Special Education certification required for secondary level preferred.
• Experience with middle and high school students in a SPED setting.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and case management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with diverse needs.
• Teach or co-teach classes and adapt instruction to student needs.
• Manage resource room support and targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with general education staff and families for student success.
• Monitor progress and document IEPs, assessments, and performance.
