Talent Search PRO is seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher to collaboratively design and implement individualized academic and behavioral programs for students. The role emphasizes a structured, supportive classroom that meets academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team and parents/guardians to deliver tailored IEPs and engaging instruction, fostering a compassionate, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a Provisional Certificate in Special Education for middle school.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience with special education or related settings preferred.
• Ability to develop IEPs and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom and behavior-management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for assigned students.
• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with individual academic and behavioral needs.
• Differentiate instruction based on students' learning styles and IEP goals.
• Evaluate students' academic and behavioral functioning and adjust programs as needed.
• Maintain communication with parents/guardians and school staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for coordinated support.
• Monitor and adjust behavior-management plans.
• Ensure safe, structured classroom environment and proper organization.
• Supervise students during school day activities and transitions.
