Job summary

The Road Home is seeking a Housing Advocate to support individuals experiencing homelessness across multiple Salt Lake City sites. You will provide compassionate, trauma-informed assistance and help guests access shelter resources, while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include documenting stays, coordinating with staff and emergency services, and guiding guests through available services. This is an in-person position with day, swing, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trauma-informed customer service to shelter guests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.
• Document guest stays and bed management.
• Collaborate with EMS, law enforcement, and staff during crises.
