Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers in Plymouth, MA is seeking a dedicated School Shift Counselor to join our Southeast Campus team. You will help maintain a safe school environment for COVE School students, implement intervention strategies aligned with IEP and treatment goals, and collaborate with teachers to support students' social, emotional, and educational progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year child care experience in a residential setting with similar population of children.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure school environment for the COVE School students.
• Implement intervention strategies based on student IEP and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with teaching faculty to plan activities and support students individually or in small groups.
• Coordinate care and supervise classrooms and related spaces to maintain a clean, organized environment for students.
• Provide first aid and coordinate medical or emergency situations as needed.
• Participate in faculty meetings, trainings, supervision meetings, and other program activities.
