Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison to consult with teachers and promote trauma-informed classrooms. The role includes training LEA personnel, building home-school partnerships, and guiding families through IEP processes and community resources.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s degree in a related field, plus licensure eligibility and relevant clinical internship experience. This full-time position requires driving and in-person school-site presence across TN.?

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Clinical Psychology, MH Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• License-eligible in the respective discipline preferred.
• Completion of at least 24 graduate-level hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face consultation with teachers to promote trauma-informed classrooms.
• Deliver at least one in-person training per year to LEA personnel on mental health topics.
• Support school-wide mental health initiatives and universal prevention strategies.
• Serve as liaison between school, family, and IEP processes when invited.
• Help families navigate behavioral health services and crisis resources.
• Maintain logs and tracking documents for all services.
• Offer student sessions and psychoeducation groups (>=3 per year).
• Develop and update treatment plans; document progress per policy.
• Ensure timely documentation and grant-compliant reporting.
• Complete required bi-annual performance evaluations.
