Job summary

Mercy seeks a compassionate SANE RN to provide trauma-informed forensic nursing care to sexual assault survivors in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will perform detailed forensic examinations, collect and preserve evidence, support legal processes, and advocate for patients’ physical and emotional needs.

You will collaborate closely with law enforcement, social services, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• SANE RN with specialized forensic nursing training.
• Experience in trauma-informed patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed forensic examinations for sexual assault survivors.
• Collect and preserve evidence following protocols.
• Support legal processes and documentation as required.
