Qualifications

• Licensure as an RN in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Conducts forensic examinations and interviews to document abuse.
• Collects specimens, photographs injuries, and performs age-appropriate physical exams as needed.
• Ensures patient medical care and provides guidance throughout treatments.
• Provides training and guidance to staff; coordinates resources for smooth department operations.
• Monitors care quality and compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Supports program development and collaborates with management on new services.
