Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Safety & Wellness Specialist in Arizona to assess client needs, support outreach, and connect individuals to community resources. You will collaborate with Humanitarian Reception coordinators and casework staff in Phoenix to deliver services across the program.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Social Work or related field, 2+ years of experience with vulnerable populations, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Social Work, Human Services or similar field preferred.
• 2+ years of related work experience; asylum seekers or vulnerable populations ideal.
• Knowledge of asylum issues, case management and outreach is desired.

Responsibilities

• Support enrollment for clients based on arrival patterns and maintain case files.
• Provide client support in coordination with the VOCA team and casework staff.
• Deliver trauma-informed, client-centered services and develop referral plans.
