Job summary

International Rescue Committee in Arizona seeks a Senior Program Manager for Safety, Health & Wellness to oversee statewide programming across Phoenix and Tucson. You will coordinate staff, partnerships, and grant activities while upholding trauma-informed, client-centered approaches.

The role requires graduate-level credentials in social work or public health and at least five years leading similar initiatives, with strong English communication and collaboration skills across diverse partners.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in social work, public health, or related field preferred; undergraduate degree in social work or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of related professional experience, including supervising case management staff, grant reporting, and program development.
• Demonstrated experience with trauma-informed, victim-centered, and/or public health service models.
• Excellent written and spoken English; bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide coordination for Health and Safety & Wellness programming across Phoenix and Tucson.
• Supervise program staff and ensure grant compliance, subcontracts, and monitoring activities.
• Develop and implement trauma-informed service models and supervise case coordination across programs.
• Track budgets, expenditures, and donor deliverables; compile reports for donors and agency specifications.
