Job summary

Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs in Needham, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will provide routine and emergency medical care for students across residential, CBAT, group home, and school programs.

You will administer medications, maintain medical records, and support staff with health training and triage, ensuring safety and high-quality care for children and youth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current unencumbered MA nursing license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Experience with children with emotional challenges preferred.
• Background check suitability requirements.
• Bilingual capabilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine medical care to students.
• Provide emergency care to students as needed.
• Administer medications to students as scheduled.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy.
• Provide on-going consultation to staff and attend required meetings.
• Serve as on-call nurse for after-hours triage.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
