Qualifikationen

• Current unencumbered MA nursing license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 1–2 years of experience with emotionally challenged or developmentally delayed children preferred.
• Must pass background checks and have reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Provide routine medical care to students
• Provide emergency care to students if necessary
• Administer medications to students during shifts
• Maintain medical records
• Provide ongoing consultation to staff and attend meetings
• Ensure first aid supplies are available
• Track and schedule medical, dental and lab appointments
• Provide in-service training to staff
• Communicate with parents/guardians as needed
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
• Serve as on-call nurse for after-hours triage
