Job summary

Nexus Family Healing's on-campus New Dominion School in Austin, MN is seeking a Restorative Practice Specialist to develop a school-based restorative strategy that shifts student behavior from disruption to self-reflection and learning.

You will collaborate with the administrative team to deliver trauma-informed care, facilitate restorative circles, coaching, and classroom supports that promote social and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma with Paraprofessional Licensure.
• Nice to Have: 2+ years in educational setting with trauma-informed care and restorative justice practices.
• Experience with middle/high school students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops restorative strategies, practices, and processes with administration.
• Builds trust and provides tools and training on restorative practices for staff.
• Assesses student mood and needs to determine intervention duration.
• Facilitates restorative room environment and safe space for students.
