Job summary

Shelter Youth & Family Services in the Northwest Suburbs seeks a Residential Treatment Coordinator for the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) program. You will supervise Youth Care Specialists, ensure daily programming, safety, and clinical collaboration for up to 12 girls aged 12-18.

You will lead trauma-informed care, coordinate with field staff and clinical teams, manage staff schedules, and ensure documentation and DCFS compliance while maintaining a supportive, drug-free, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field required.
• Minimum of two years of residential experience.
• One to two years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Must complete background checks and DCFS requirements.
• CPR/First Aid, CPI and trauma training required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily routines of Youth Care Specialists and ensure appropriate staff allocation.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring in trauma-informed behavior management.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate resident ratios.
• Coordinate and ensure timely shift-related documentation and compliance with DCFS policies.
• Provide direct services including crisis intervention and emotional support to residents.
• Collaborate with clinical and case management teams on treatment plans and progress.
