Job summary

Shelter Youth & Family Services in the Northwest Suburbs of Illinois seeks a Residential Treatment Coordinator to oversee a therapeutic program serving up to 12 girls, ages 12-18, survivors of human trafficking.

You will supervise Youth Care Specialists, ensure daily programming and documentation, coordinate transportation and clinical planning, and support crisis intervention with a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social service or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of residential experience is required.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience is required.
• Must meet driver requirements and be fingerprinted for DCFS licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for Youth Care Specialists.
• Ensure daily programming, structure, and documentation are maintained.
• Promote trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care for residents.
• Coordinate transportation, medical, therapy, school, and activities.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to develop treatment plans and track progress.
• Ensure adequate shift coverage and staff scheduling.
