Job summary

Riverbend Health and Wellness is seeking a Residential Transport Specialist to safely transport clients to appointments and approved destinations, while delivering trauma-informed, compassionate care. When not transporting, you will conduct routine safety patrols, assist with behavioral crises using de-escalation techniques, maintain logs, and help keep a secure therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; preferred experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, transportation, or crisis intervention environments.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Narcan administration training.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to appointments, activities, admissions, discharges, and other approved destinations.
• Maintain professional, trauma-informed care and interactions with clients.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain logs for safety and compliance.
• Documentation and logs as it relates to client transport and incident reporting.
• Conduct facility patrols and support safety and security initiatives.
• Assist staff during behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques.
• Support emergency response procedures and operational needs.
