Job summary

The Recovery Center is seeking a Transportation Specialist to safely transport clients to and from the recovery center, medical appointments, court appearances, and recovery meetings. This role supports client engagement and treatment compliance by providing reliable, compassionate transportation and maintaining necessary documentation.

A high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to pass background checks are required; CPR/First Aid certification is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of local roads and transportation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely to and from the recovery center and other approved locations.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, counseling, court dates, and meetings.
• Maintain a positive, respectful environment for clients during transport.
• Assist clients with entering/exiting vehicles and coordinate schedules with staff.
• Complete logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Communicate client concerns or changes to supervisory staff.
• Follow traffic laws, policies, and safety procedures.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and keep vehicles maintained.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and organizational policy.
