Job summary

Riverwalk Post-Acute is seeking a driver-associate to assist with loading and unloading residents from facility vehicles, and to transport them to appointments and activities. The role includes maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety, logging maintenance, and staying flexible for schedules.

Candidates must lift up to 75 pounds and demonstrate safe transfer techniques. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Driver's License, and CNA training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED.
• Must have a valid DL.
• No Traffic Crimes in the last 7 years. DUI, DWS, Reckless Driving, No Traffic Felonies.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles.
• Ensure safe transportation to scheduled medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain interior and exterior of facility vehicles for safety and appearance.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and arrange regular maintenance.
• Be flexible with work times for late resident appointments or activities.
• Lift and mobilize residents up to 75 pounds as needed in vans.
• Make complex decisions involving a highly dependent resident base.
