Seamark Ranch is seeking a Programs Assistant to provide trauma-informed, relationship-based support in our residential setting. You will work primarily in the afternoon and evening, helping children regulate emotions, communicate effectively, and participate in daily routines.

This is a nonclinical, team-based role that supports Care Plans and clinical recommendations while House Parents retain primary authority in the home. Open to on-site work with occasional after-hours coverage.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, human services, child development, education, family studies, or a closely related field.
• Ability to build healthy relationships with children while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Willingness to provide hands-on childcare and participate in residential life activities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Mansioni

• Support children during school-to-home transitions, homework, meals, recreation, and evening routines, reinforcing household expectations and Care Plan goals.
• Help children build coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills following counseling and program guidance.
• Provide practical assistance to House Parents during after-school transitions, meals, and bedtime, including temporary coverage when needed.
• Supervise and assist with Equine, Agriculture, and other Ranch programming as assigned.
• Maintain readiness to respond to safety concerns and document observations for leadership.
