Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Residential Counselor I to support a social services residential program for children ages 0 to 12. The role focuses on trauma-informed, strengths-based care and building trust with diverse families.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily youth activities, accompanying youth to appointments, and safely transporting them as needed. The program emphasizes growth, advocacy, and community connections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least one year of related experience with the population.
• Must adhere to Trauma-Informed Care and Interventions model.
• Strong judgment and effective, solution-focused problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily youth activities including school, appointments, play, and other activities.
• Monitor and participate in community service, recreation, visits, family time, and off-ground activities.
• Lead shifts as assigned.
• Safely transport youth to activities, appointments, school, work, and visits.
• Advocate for assigned youth and complete required reports and documentation.
