Job summary

Stevens Treatment Programs is seeking a Residential Counselor in Swansea, MA to provide mentorship and support for adolescents in a structured, trauma-informed environment. You will collaborate with clinicians and educators to implement individualized treatment plans and help youths build trust, coping skills, and independence.

The role is full-time on the 2nd shift, offering $19.50–$21.50 per hour plus bilingual premium and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Successful background check (EEC).
• Experience with adolescents or special populations preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive, consistent relationships with youth
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
• Partner with clinical and education teams to support treatment goals
• Coach youth in coping skills, emotional regulation, and daily living skills
• Respond calmly and effectively during moments of crisis
