Job summary

WellPower is hiring a Residential Counselor for a 36-hour-per-week, part-time position at our Denver, CO facility. You will support adults transitioning from crisis services, facilitate ADLs, provide group support and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and safety.

Responsibilities include intake/discharge tasks, medication monitoring, and documenting care while maintaining a trauma-informed environment and collaborating with clinicians and case management.

Qualifications

• RC I education path includes pursuing bachelor’s in social work or related fields; CNA/HHA certification preferred.
• RC II requires a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy and support to consumers.
• Coordinate clinical care with case management and other services inside and outside MHCD.
• Assist with activities of daily living and safety on the unit.
• Document significant interactions toward recovery and continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a trauma-informed environment.
