Job summary

WellPower in Denver is seeking Residential Counselors to support residents with activities of daily living, coordinate treatment, and advocate for individuals with severe mental illness within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will lead group therapy sessions, monitor medications, handle intakes and discharges, ensure a safe home environment, and complete clinical documentation. The role requires evening/night shifts and weekend work.

Qualifications

• RC I: Pursuing Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field; RC II: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
• One year of mental health experience preferred; must be 21+ to apply.
• CPR & First Aid certification are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy with consumers and support insights.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions within the house.
• Coordinate clinical care with case management and services inside and outside MHCD.
• Assess consumers and provide appropriate interventions.
• Encourage ADLs and assist with appointments and household tasks.
