Job summary

Solace is seeking a Rape Crisis Advocate for a part-time, PRN, on-call role. You will provide trauma-informed crisis advocacy to survivors and families across hospitals, law enforcement, and community sites.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safety planning, and resource navigation, with travel within Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, and McCook counties. Background checks and strict confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Background checks including FBI/Law Enforcement and Abuse/Neglect registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for Solace’s 24-hour rape crisis line with immediate crisis intervention.
• Respond in person to hospitals, law enforcement, and partner sites.
• Advocate survivor-centered services and assist with safety planning.
• Maintain confidential, accurate records per agency policies.
