Job summary

LifeWorks is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Travis County Transformation Project in Austin, TX. You will oversee operations, staff supervision, and partnership building with law enforcement, Travis County, and community organizations to support youth and families.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, restorative, and family-centered approaches, with data tracking, contract compliance, and continuous quality improvement as core duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible program management or supervisory experience in behavioral health, youth services, juvenile justice diversion, family services, or related fields.
• Experience with contract compliance, grant management, and outcome reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of the Travis County Transformation Project with partner agencies.
• Promote a trauma-informed, person-centered culture and ensure grant/contract compliance.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and service delivery standards.
• Monitor performance measures, outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide coverage and direct client services as needed to support staff and clients.
• Supervise program staff and support professional development and mentoring.
