Job summary

The Rose House in Colorado is seeking an experienced Primary Therapist to join our intimate clinical team. This role provides direct services including individual and group psychotherapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention within a dual-diagnosis residential program for women.

Responsibilities include assessments at admission, treatment planning, four weekly trauma-focused groups, co-facilitating trauma projects, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or social science.
• Licensed by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LAC or by the Board of Psychology as a licensed Psychologist.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in private practice or within a treatment organization, including having group therapy and trauma therapy experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license. CPR/First Aid/AED certification, obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments at admission and re-assessments; provide accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
• Individual therapy with a maximum caseload of 8–9; include family and group therapy.
• Create and facilitate trauma-focused groups and related educational sessions weekly.
• Crisis intervention, safety planning, and suicide risk assessment.
• Appropriate, thorough and timely documentation of sessions and plans.
• Provide weekly supervision and training to clinical interns/practicum students.
