Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Globe, AZ is seeking a Peer Support Specialist for a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with some evenings and weekends. The role focuses on registering participants, facilitating peer groups, and promoting recovery skills in a trauma-informed environment.

Collaboration with LAHMB staff, participation in the LAHMB Consortium, and responsibility for reporting and Nalox-Box kit management are also part of the role, along with helping participants build parenting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Certification or ability to attain certification as a Peer Support Specialist.
• Knowledge of rural Arizona, prevention, and substance use issues. Parenting experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Register participants in collaboration with LAHMB staff.
• Schedule and facilitate Peer Support Groups.
• Provide encouragement and support to engage in activities.
• Attend peer support certification trainings as required.
• Facilitate group discussions and activities with fidelity to programming.
• Assist participants in developing confidence and skills related to parenting.
• Use a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of the project.
• Complete funder and AZYP reporting requirements.
