Job summary

Adelbrook in Manchester, CT is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support children, adolescents, and young adults with ASD/IDD. Under supervision of an OT, you will help implement treatment plans and promote functional independence across residential, educational, and community settings.

This on-site role requires CT OTA credential and NBCOT certification, with a collaborative, trauma-informed approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold CT OTA credential and licensure.
• Experience with ASD/IDD preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out prescribed treatment interventions under the supervising OT.
• Assist individuals in developing self-care, motor coordination, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
• Document services and progress toward treatment goals accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with families to integrate OT strategies into home, school, and residential environments.
• Complete documentation in a timely and compliant manner per licensing standards.
