Job summary

MountainStar Family Relief Nursery in Madras, Oregon, is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This role coordinates services for children in the Outreach program, including recruitment, enrollment, home visitation, social play groups and respite care, with case management and parent education in line with Relief Nursery standards.

You will engage families, conduct monthly home visits, maintain records, and support with referrals and education.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable communities
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; Oregon Registry level considered

Responsibilities

• Recruit with new and enrolled families through recruitment activities, recurring play groups, text/phone/email outreach, and weekly respite classes
• Conduct monthly home visits with each family, including referrals, supplies, empathetic listening, parent education, and goal setting
• Maintain accurate records of family data, assessments, and files; timely data entry and reporting
• Occasional evening and/or weekend events for parents
• Maintain confidentiality of families, coworkers, and community partners
• Advocate for Relief Nursery programs and families through understanding of values and mission
• Engage in professional development opportunities
• Maintain an average caseload of 12 families
• Work with program manager and site staff to meet community and program needs
• Other duties as assigned
