Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Windy Hill is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist with trauma therapy focus to join our multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team. The Windy Hill location provides comprehensive behavioral health services within a collaborative hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based trauma therapies (EMDR, CBT, DBT) and work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical providers to coordinate holistic patient care, documentation, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in Georgia.
• Demonstrated experience and training in trauma-focused therapy modalities.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with trauma-related mental health concerns.
• Provide trauma-informed therapy using evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, or other trauma-specific interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with Wellstar policies and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed and engage in community outreach and education about trauma and mental health.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision to enhance skills.
